Mini crumble tarts with Rescapés apple pie spread

Room-temperature butter or oil
½ cup
cold butter, chopped into small pieces
1 ¼ cups
all-purpose flour
1/3 cup
brown sugar
1 tsp.
1 ½ tsp.
vanilla extract
jar Rescapés apple pie spread
250 ml


Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Grease or butter 12 muffin moulds. Set aside.
Step 3
In a bowl, place the cold butter cubes, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Using a fork, combine the ingredients. Then, using your hands, squeeze the mixture together until the butter forms small clumps. Set aside.
Step 4
Place 2 tbsp. of the mixture into each muffin mould. Spread evenly with a spoon. Set the remaining mixture aside. Place 1 tbsp. of the Rescapés apple pie spread in each of the moulds. Top with the remaining crumble mixture.
Step 5
Bake on the middle rack for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Let cool. Remove the crumble tarts from the moulds using a butter knife. Enjoy!
