Creamy Vegan Artichoke-Spinach Dip

Parties are known for their dips and spreads. Yet besides hummus, vegan options are quite limited. Here is a healthy vegan recipe made with cashew cream, spinach, and artichokes. An easy to prepare crowd-pleaser. Delicious when served fresh out of the oven with chips.


1½ cups
frozen spinach
onion, chopped
jar of marinated artichoke hearts
1 tbsp.
olive oil
1½ cups
cashew cream
½ cup
nutritional yeast
cloves of garlic, minced
2 tbsp.
apple cider vinegar
1 tsp
dried basil
1 tsp
dried parsley
A pinch of cayenne
Salt and pepper, to taste


Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Thaw and drain spinach.
Step 2
Sauté onions, spinach and artichokes in a little olive oil for 5 minutes.
Step 3
In a mixer, add cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic, vinegar, and spices. Blend and pour into a baking dish, then place in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers. It’s the perfect potluck dish!
