Roasted Romaine, Nut, and Maple Salad

romaine lettuce hearts

Directions

Step 1
In a bowl, mix the dressing ingredients until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Grill the pecans and sunflower seeds under the broiler for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3
Halve the romaine hearts lengthwise and brush with oil.
Step 4
Heat a grill pan or the BBQ to medium heat and grill the romaine hearts on the cut side for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Place the romaine hearts on a plate and garnish with pre-grilled pecans and sunflower seeds as well as dried cranberries. Drizzle with dressing.
