Ginger and citrus health shot

Makes 1 small glass


The juice of ½ a small lemon
The juice of ½ a lime
1 piece
(approximately 4 cm) fresh ginger
1 pinch
ground turmeric
1 pinch
ground cayenne pepper or black pepper


Step 1
Press the juice from the lemon and lime. Set aside.
Step 2
Peel and finely grate the ginger. Set aside.
Step 3
Pass the lemon and lime juice and grated ginger through a fine sieve to remove as many particles as possible.
Step 4
Pour the liquid into a small shooter-type glass and add a pinch of turmeric and a pinch of cayenne or black pepper.
