Directions

Step 1
Soak oats in a saucepan of water at room temperature overnight or for about 6 to 8 hours. In the morning, rinse and return to saucepan.
Step 2
Add water and almond beverage and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Add carrots and spices and let simmer over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes, until oats are tender. Add some almond beverage as needed if mixture becomes too dry.
Step 4
Remove from heat and add walnuts and maple syrup. Top with a touch of almond butter.
