Directions
- Step 1
- Waffles Preheat the waffle iron.
- Step 2
- In a bowl, whisk together the matcha powder, milk, eggs, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Set aside.
- Step 3
- In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and salt.
- Step 4
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until the batter is smooth.

- Add the melted butter and mix again.
- Step 6
- Pour 60 ml to 125 ml of batter into the waffle iron (depending on its size) and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the waffles are golden. Repeat with remaining batter.

- Frosting Using a food processor or electric mixer, cream the cream cheese with the butter until smooth.
- Step 8
- Add half of the powdered sugar and beat again.
- Step 9
- Add the remaining powdered sugar and beat until the frosting is fully smooth.
- Step 10
- To create a festive waffle tree, cut the waffles into quarters, then stack them while alternating angles and spreading a layer of frosting between each layer. Decorate with fresh raspberries and a dusting of icing sugar.
Tips
For an equally vibrant green color, replace the matcha with wheatgrass powder or simply add a few drops of green food coloring to the batter.
